2022 Santa Rita Hills Pinot Noir, Tyler Winery
Pale in colour, with a beautiful nose of pomegranate and red fruit, with just a hint of fresh citrus, the palate here is lively, with zippy fruit, yet a core of raspberries and rose petal ensures it’s not lacking concentration. With 13% alcohol, this is impeccably balanced: it’s everything we’re looking for in a Pinot Noir to open and enjoy (but with the complexity and stuffing to age beautifully, too).
